Description:
This course provides an overview of identifying risks to minimize harm to individuals; the DSP’s role during an emergency; tips for preventing poisoning, drowning, and falling; fire preparation using smoke alarms, emergency plans, and fire drills; responding to a fire using the acronyms R.A.C.E. and P.A.S.S.; and wheelchair safety and transfers.
