  Objectives: At the completion of this course, participants should be able to: • Identify the essential components of a progress note. • Know what type of language is appropriate for use in writing progress notes. • Understand the important role progress notes play in providing quality client care as well as the importance of keeping note keeping practices up to date as informed by the literature in order to provide quality client care.
