  Description: This course provides an overview of the basics to various types of meetings, such as the characteristics of effective and ineffective meetings; the best practices for deciding if conducting a meeting is necessary; the principles of planning a meeting by defining the objectives, writing agendas, and selecting participants; the tactics for being an effective leader when opening and closing a meeting and by encouraging participation; and the methods to evaluate a meeting during or after the meeting.
