Description:
This program highlights a variety of models of understanding and treating addictions, ranging from the traditional 12-step model, which is, in fact, cognitive behavioral, to systemic family therapy, to developmental, to self-psychology, to traditional psychoanalytic.
This course includes the following interviews: Joan Ebbitt, MSW, "Eating Disorders" and Peter Palanca, M.A., Counseling and Psychological Services, "Substance Abuse in Adolescents."
