• Recognize ways to effectively assess and treat clients with gambling problems
Description:
This course reviews the research literature on gambling disorder best practices in order to help clinicians become better skilled at assessing, diagnosing, and treating clients with gambling problems. This training will review research on the topic, and identify ways to successfully assess, diagnose, and treat gambling addiction. This is a one hour course and targets case managers, social workers, counselors, and other social service professionals in the mental health and medical field who may provide treatment for problematic gambling.
