Description: On July 1, 2017 Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs) will be operating in eight states. This course is designed to give you an overview of the elements of determining how those organizations are compensated by Medicaid. The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and the National Council for Behavioral Health provide detailed information you will need to determine your compensation as a CCBHC. Further, each participating state’s Medicaid department or division will set the regulations for organizations within their state. This course will give you a high level view of the required services of a CCBHC and the process for determining your Prospective Payment System (PPS). This course may be useful for those organizations who have been approached by a CCBHC to enter into a Designated Collaborating Organization agreement to help you understand the regulations and compensation for the CCBHC.
