  Description: The recovery perspective is strongly supported as policy by the federal government and underlies several different approaches to providing mental health service. In this unit, we will examine the recovery perspective and define its key components. In addition, we will examine some of the attitudes, beliefs, knowledge and skills that you will need regardless of the approach used in helping individuals with mental illness recover.
