Online Course Title: Retired ~ PTSD Part 3, The Culture of PTSD
  Category: 575
  Credits: 1

Objectives: Become familiar with a range of PTSD treatment approaches and when to apply them with best results.
Description: The understanding and treatment of posttraumatic stress has changed over the years, especially as between the 2 world wars, the Vietnam conflict, and the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. Dr. Herbert reviews and explains these views. For example, particularly with the way the diagnosis is currently structured, there is an increase in sensitivity to the importance of looking at posttraumatic reactions. In the aftermath of trauma, it's important to see what happens and see how we can help people.
