• Prepare caregivers in their efforts to manage the behavioral consequences of AD
Description:
This course will present an overview of what we know about Alzheimer’s disease, including its effect on the brain, potential causes of the disease and a discussion of the typical course of progression. We will also focus on the challenges for behavioral health providers who care for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, and so will focus on management of the behavioral manifestations of the disease.
