  Objectives: • Be able to distinguish between six types of sexual addiction. • Develop a preliminary understanding of treatment for each type of addiction. • Recognize the increasing need for clinical skills in working with people suffering from sexual addiction.
  Description: Addiction is characterized by profound craving that so dominates the life of a person, virtually nothing can stop them from engaging in self-destructive patterns to satisfy their need. This course explores the definition of six types of sexual addiction, the etiology of the problem, and current treatment methods.
