  Objectives: At the completion of this course, participants should be able to: • Identify the various areas of a worksheet and their use • Explore the three types of data used in Microsoft® Excel 2010 • Modify the structure and layout of a worksheet for various project types • Access active cells and input data appropriately • Recognize proper techniques and application tools for managing worksheet data successfully
  Description: This course is the first of a two part tutorial introducing the business and organizational application of Microsoft ® Excel 2010. It will provide the user familiarity with the layout and construction of the spreadsheet format. The course will offer techniques on how to best utilize the many tools and time-saving enhancements available in this latest version of the Excel product. In addition, we review the best practices for creating, modifying and producing structured worksheets using a combination of numerical and textual data.
