Description:
This course presents key information; covering basic first aid procedures, including hazard awareness and emergency response. This course is designed for general audiences. The goal of this course is to provide information that helps increase employee awareness and knowledge of basic first aid procedures and to further promote awareness and proper management practices. Topics covered include initial contact with and assessment of the victim, life saving techniques for circulation and breathing, bleeding, fractures, burns, bites and stings, stroke, seizure, and tooth knocked out.
