Technological developments in genealogical internet searching and in the sequencing of the DNA and its genealogical meaning have made it much easier for adoptees to locate their biological families than ever before. But, there are some risks and implications. What if the search leads to rejection? To disappointment? And what could the impact be on the relationship of the adoptees to their adoptive families?
