Description:
Because of the serious risks associated with patient handling, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has detailed the various hazards and solutions related to patient handling and information on starting a safe patient handling program, all of which will be discussed in the course, “Patient Handling.” The goal of this lesson is to inform employers and employees of the risks associated with patient handling, as well as provide ways to safely reduce risk in such situations.
