• Define therapeutic change and identify factors that influence change
• Define Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
• Explain the main principles of SFBT
• Identify and describe four roles clients may assume
• Identify and demonstrate useful practitioner language skills
• Identify and state examples of strategic questions and appropriate staging of questions during initial and subsequent interviews
• Use collaboration skills to engage clients to identify goals
Description: The focus of this course will provide specific knowledge and skills required to provide brief solution-oriented interventions to address substance use and other related behavioral problems.
