• Define the term behavior management and explain its philosophical underpinnings
• Describe at least 5 key principles to the practice of behavior management with individuals with dementia
• Identify at least 5 specific behavioral interventions that can be used to redirect or minimize problem behaviors in individuals with dementia.
Description: This course provides an introduction to the theory and principles of behavior management and the specific application of behavioral interventions in managing problem behaviors associated with dementia.
